EVENTS 2025

HOOKING IN THE SHIRES 2025 AMERICAN COUNTRY RUGS (ACR)  THREE EVENTS:

 A Hook In is an informal event where Rug Hookers gather to hook all day, have lunch, shop and if lucky win a door prize.  Show and Tell is a fun opportunity to show off the rug or rugs you have hooked.   The best of all it is great day to see old friends and make new ones. 


  • April 24, ACR Open House at Lollipop Farm, 4743 RT 315 IN East Rupert, VT
  • April 25, ACR Hook- In at the Manchester Country Club, 229 Beech Street off RT 7A, Manchester VT
  • October 29, Halloween Hook-IN at the Salem Cross Inn, 260 West Main ST, in Brookfield MA  
  • This year we celebrate the eleventh anniversary for both the Lollipop Farm Open House and the Hook In in Manchester VT at the Manchester Country Club

Cost:  $39 Includes breakfast   goodie, lunch, coffee, tea and water.

2025 - The Seventh Annual Halloween Hook-In

 Salem Cross Inn - 260 West Main Street, The West Brookfield, MA 01588
                         Date: Wednesday October 29, Time: 9AM-3:30pm Cost: $42           

  Includes: Munchies in the morning and a wonderful 

Lunch is served in the main dining room.  Coffee, tea and water is available all day.
Come and join the fun, great vendors, door prizes and good times for all
RSVP by: Monday October 21st  

Registration for the Hook IN will open on the web site americancountryrugs.com on January 1st.  Checks are deposited on the date noted on the flyer.  Early registration secures your admittance and you have plenty of time to cancel.

The turnout for this year’s Hook-In was great. Eighty one people registered and only four
did not attend. We have come a long way since the end of the pandemic. It was hard work bringing the people back and now the information is all online on my Web Site. The Hook In is up and running.

Now is the time for me to retire the position of Hook IN Chairman. 

2025 is my last year of Chairmanship. I have had a lot of fun and a lot of worries. I am looking for a person to take over the responsibilities of running this event.
